Two ways to subscribe by email: First (and easier), send a blank email to fugue-subscribe@free-conversant.com. You'll automatically be signed up, doesn't matter if you're a member or not. Second, if you'll look in your member preferences, under "conversation prefs," you'll see something by the name of "email interface." Click on this, and it should give you the option of receiving every message posted to this site as if it were a mailing list, delivered to whatever inbox you choose.

If you prefer to use your newsreader, enter "free-conversant.com" as a news server into whatever newsreader you use. When you tell your newsreader to get the list of newsgroups from the server, it should give you newsgroups corresponding to every Conversant site that you're a member of. Subscribe to these as newsgroups, and now every message on these sites is displayed for you as if it were a post to a newsgroup.

Conversant's wonderful, ain't it? Best of all, I didn't have to do a thing to get this to work- it's all on by default, written right into the software! Such power...
