East Field Tree Circle
The tree circle is located in the western part of northern East Field. There are nine trees forming a ring around the skeleton of a large snake-like creature. It is not clear what the relationship is between the trees and the skeleton, nor even whether the trees were planted or grew magically in response to the creature's death. Because of these uncertainties I am not sure whether this truly is an archaeological site--it may instead be a very unusual natural occurance.
