Qual Attacks!

Shortly after I came out of the library this morning, Sasha sunstoned a warning of a possible T'rool invasion at the mirror. I headed south to investigate, and soon discovered that Qual was indeed invading in search of the Separ. Many exiles fell at the Mirror, including me. I lie there now, listening to the shouts of other fallen exiles. Apparently Qual is here, but I can't see him. There are still some exiles standing, but the enemy forces are so thick that it may be some time before I and the other fallens can be rescued.

Although I was too preoccupied at the time to consider a connection, it's worth mentioning that a swarm of venemous chiggers appeared in east field at the same time as Sasha's invasion warning. I wonder if Qual had something to do with them, perhaps as a distraction? If not for the warning, it's likely that many exiles would have gone and gotten themselves poisoned while Qual's army advanced.

10:00 AM: Qual just dewed me!

10:15 AM: Sunstone reports 30 kins at east gate. This looks bad. I hope Qual doesn't find the Separ, now I have a personal need for it.

10:23 AM: Qual just shouted that he was heading for town. I just sensed that Fishylish has fallen, shortly after she came out of the library. Things must be bad there.

10:30 AM: Crystal sunstones that east gate is getting bad.

10:40 AM: Crystal reports east gate is holding now .

10:44 AM: Yor reports the exiles are holding by the scout.

10:53 AM: Fist of Fluff called for healers at east gate, and immediately afterwards Crystal (who had been sunstoning situation reports from there) fell. Not a good sign.

10:57 AM: Drue'Dreemi reports south field is being cleared.

11:00 AM: Koric reports Qual is at east gate.

11:08 AM: Lorikeet is here! Maybe I will be rescued!

11:15 AM: Sunstone reports east town is falling and invaders hitting town center. Orders given to kudzu south gate and concentrate on east.

11:33 AM: Rylantar appeared with three other exiles on a chain and tried to save me, but he was trapped and fell.

11:38 AM: Qual's forces have been forced back to east town.

11:48 AM: Gorvin chained me and others to the hospital! I'll get in the fight now.

12:28 PM: Raised, trying to find a way to town.

1:00 PM: I fell trying to get out west of the hospital, but Altir saved me. Back in the hospital now, trying to find a way out.

1:35 PM: We tried to break out through the mirror sn'ell, but too many Vol'Kins and a Grandew appeared and the breakout failed. I fell, but some others made it to the hospital.

2:00 PM: Henryk got me to the hospital.

2:38 PM: Another push into the mirror sn'ell failed when three palidews appeared. This time I made it back to the hospital under my own power, though. Qual teleported into the hospital right next to me for a split-second, twice. Presumably he was checking out what force was holed up here.

For the next two hours I was too busy fighting to write anything down. We cleared out the area around the Mirror, and then I helped mop up the remains of the invasion force.

4:46 PM: The invasion is defeated. We're mopping up T'rool town now.

Several hours after the invasion ended, Dr. Malthus came out of the library and used the Separ to remove my lump (and many other people's as well).
