12:17 AM: We're getting nowhere on Noth, looks like Tessa is thinking of retreating. We can't effectively fight in this narrow pass. Or so it appears, I'm watching from way behind the front line.

12:28 AM: I spoke too soon, we've forced our way up almost to the second section of the pass.

1:00 AM: The people up front are talking about pulling out. Dr. Malthus says we won't be able to deal with the Palidew cave.

1:20 AM: The situation is desperate. Two blue noths appeared behind our lines, and killed most of our remaining people. Including me, alas.

1:36 AM: Qual is here watching us, but he hasn't dewed anyone. Maybe it's just something that looks like him? Dr. Malthus says the blue things are Xars.

2:30 AM: I'm up again. Kiriel D'Sol led a rescue part, things are looking a bit better. I expect we'll still retreat off the island once everyone is up, though.

3:15 AM: We advanced to the next sn'ell! I guess the invasion will continue after all. I can't really see what's going on from here, but it looks like there are some Palidews holding the pass.

3:30 AM: I went back to deal with some wendeckas that attacked our rear, and about a dozen Dal'Noths appeared and wipped out many of use back here. Apparently they're not very hard for fighters, though. Tessa gave the order to leave.
