Today I was witness to a truly disgusting chain of events. Journeyman Neige sued Mystic Manticore while Manticore was nearing the successful completion of a Full Moon Orga Camp Raid. His charges were fairly absurd--I've made transcripts available. To my utter disgust, Manticore was found guilty and the raid was ruined, thus wasting the time of the twenty exiles who were participating. What's more, since the raid failed, the Orga will be able to continue with whatever plans they have for the teleportation stones.

Neige's justification for this act of treason against Puddleby was, essentially, that he and some other mystics don't like Manticore. It's unclear how many other guild members support Neige's actions in this matter. I certainly don't, but Zorton and Soulmaster both spoke in his favor.

This vile misbehavior on the part of a few mystics will certainly not help relations between the Mystic Guild and the rest of Puddleby. I'm very much afraid that future raids will fail because fighters and healers will refuse to help the Mystic attempting the raid.

For this reason, I believe that it's very important for the Mystic Council to make some public statement of how the majority of Full Mystics stand in this matter. I call on the Council to issue either a statement of support, or a statement of censure for Neige's actions.
