It occurred to me that it might be a good idea to arrange a ballot on the deal. That would give a general idea of how people feel about it, and would also give an idea of how many people might attend a public debate, based on the numbers voting. I'll look into that possibility the next time I'm out of the library.

Possible wording might be:

Do you support the Mystic Council's deal with the Brion Brothers?

a. Yes
b. I want a new deal with non-Mystics involved in negotiations.
c. No
d. No opinion
