The situation in the temple continues to worsen. Most of the floor is now covered with water, and all three Masters are unable to train because of the poor conditions. The water hasn't yet reached Ankrus, but he's getting very concerned nonetheless. People inside the temple felt several small earthquakes today which were not felt outside, which makes me fear the temple might collapse or sink entirely.
Some exiles were concerned that the cracks in the altar were growing. I hadn't noticed that myself, but I took care to sketch the altar as it is now. If the cracks do worsen, it will be easy to see now. Even in the cracks don't change, the flooding still threatens the altar's safety.
Kiril Drakesblood was reportedly in the islands somewhere today. Apparently Kiril is a female Darshak! However, nobody I talked to had seen her. I tried to sue her for extortion, but the case was unable to proceed--somewhat later, Insanelife had more success. Kiril didn't show up for the trial, but she was found guilty (I was on the jury) and sentenced. Hopefully if she does come to town to demand money, the guards will finally earn their keep and arrest her.
Given the apparent Darshak connection, a group of exiles decided to head for the Dark Temple in hopes of disrupting whatever is going on there. However, they were met with a Greater Death at the entrance. I don't know the details--I was first told they retreated, but Ayella informs me that isn't true. Apparently the exiles took an alternate route to the pentagram in the Dark Temple by way of the Dark Chamber.
