Early this morning I went on a Winds of Dawn newbie hunt organized by Farhope. We went on a tour of Tenebrion's Island (but not his castle), and for this hunt I was the designated newbie. It was very interesting, as on my previous visits to the island I've been too busy running away from things to see the sights. In the sketch above our group is relaxing in a sandy area Farhope showed us in the southeastern part of the island.

We also visited this mysterious grave site in the forest on the western side of the island. The complete inscription on the tombstone is:

Here I stood and here I lie
Bless'd earth 'tween me and evil's eye

This will make an interesting addition to my catalog of archaeological sites.

This campfire is located just south of the western landing on the island. There was no sign of who might have left it. Perhaps Tenebrion's guards sometimes camp here while patrolling the island?

Somewhat later the Bane of the Black Heart held a clan hunt in the Dark Chamber. Ayella, Talin, and Wrapper accompanied us. During the hunt, we killed a Darshak Necromancer--I'd never seen one killed before, so I was rather surprised when the body burst into flames and a group of assorted undine suddenly appeared.
