Super Chicken held a foot grabbing contest today in the Bard Field. There were four events in all. The first was a straightforward foot grab, with contestants being timed, followed by a reverse foot grab, where contestants had to put their feet into Super Chicken's hand. The next two events were moving foot grabs, where Super Chicken ran around, lying down ten times, with the contestants trying to grab his food for as many of the ten times as they could. The final event ran at a higher speed.

I was eliminated from the competition at the first moving foot grab--Kani won, with Sausage and Stinkfist tied for second. The prizes where various colored shoes, and I received green shoes as a fourth place prize.

A small Bane clan hunt was held today, with Anfyr joining us. We travelled to Melabrion's Island, where we encountered several stinging beetles. I had never seen the beetles before, but once we had gotten organized they were easy to kill.

I went to the cloud today in an attempt to rescue Yazza, who had sunstoned that she was trapped north of the cold and snowy area. Of course I fell, but I did get a chance to see a huge pack of dangerous cats in the northern snowy place as the rescue party left. I somehow made it out and pack to town without falling, although it was very close.

In town I saw Squirrel, who is now a Journeyman Mystic. It turns out she has a rather impressive title, which she related:
