The ocean was looking very strange today. The appearance changed as I moved, making a short row around Puddleby Island quite disorienting. Various explanations were offered for the ocean's state, including illegal dumping and action by Polerand.

In other news, Quatre passed both the second and third circle fighter test today. I had to study before hearing if he had attempted the fourth circle test.

South Forest was overrun by kitties today--I had just reached the Mirror when this swarm of Island Panthers decended on me. I was able to survive long enough to call for help, and a number of healers and fighters soon arrived. I fell two more times on the way north to town, but fortunately Slyph, Snow, and Pel were able to rescue me.

Today Maquiladora passed the third circle healer test!
