After making it out of the library again relatively soon, I decided to do a bit of hunting to help cover my storage costs. I ran into a bit of trouble on the cloud when I found myself surrounded by vermine and cats, but somehow I managed to fight my way through the crowd without falling. Fortunately for me, the vermine got in the cats' way quite a bit. After a bit more hunting, Indigo came out of the library and suggested that we go to the Darshak Outpost and Dark Chamber. Largo and a few others joined us.

We made it through the outpost and into the Dark Chamber without difficulty, but soon huge numbers of undine, along with Darshak Priests and other Darshak fighters, appeared and drove us back. At one point we were forced back out into the corridor and driven back (I fell at this point), but more exiles arrived to help and we were able to push back into the Chamber and eventually clear it out. Indigo and Largo suspected that Necro was behind this unusual event, but he didn't appear.

Somewhere along the way Naferu had gone through the pentagram into the Dark Temple, where a Greater Death had been waiting. We headed to the Temple to rescue him, and Jo Ma'ril organized a successful rescue with the help of some kudzu. During this rescue the entire Bane of the Black Heart was present--something which hasn't happened in many years.

After over two years in the library, I finally managed to get out and around for a while today. I had a very large bill waiting for me with Stoerena--almost 1000c! After withdrawing some money from the bank to pay up, I headed for the cloud to do a bit of skinning. While I was up there, I found this Sylvan lady selling a phantasm page. I don't own a Phantasmonomicon (or whatever the phantasm book is called) so I passed, but phantasms must be more common than they used to be.

Unfortunately (but not surprisingly) I fell shortly after arriving on the cloud, and had to be rescued. During the rescue I met up with Largo, a member of Bane of the Black Heart who had joined during my extended library stay. He showed me around the University of Puddleby, where I donated a log I'd found on the cloud, and filled me in on some of the events that I'd missed.

Eventually Indigo and Diana D'Fey, another new Bane member, emerged from the library and we headed for Ash Island along with several others. This was the largest gathering of the clan in a very long time, with every member except Luna present!

We ran into several Darshak Liches in the Dark Temple, and according to Largo there had been an undine attack on Puddleby earlier that day. Apparently the Darshak are stiring again. I also learned that the Mystics have taken up a new hobby--dirt collection.

I made it out of the library for a bit of hunting today, and stumbled across an oddly colored kudzu near the Mirror. I watched it for a few minutes, but it didn't reproduce--rather odd behavior for kudzu.
