Well I'm a stage further on now. I've had the power supply replaced and switching it on now starts the power supply and CPU fans but I'm still getting nothing from the internal speaker and nothing on the display. I've tried re-sitting the procesor and RAM, resetting CMOS and checked the jumper settings again. Yet more research to be done!
