I deny any responsibility for Steve's failure to use good sense. I never made such a challenge. Nor have I ever tried to ride a century in every month.

Now, I'll happily ride several centuries in a single month. But I consider 34 degrees pretty darn cold for starting a ride. If the sun's shining, I'll be out but not until noon or so.

Yesterday might easily have been a century day in Lewiston. Despite a forecast of showers we've had sunshine and Tuesday promised high's in the upper 50s. I rode Lapwai Loop and added Evan's road to give my self a 60 miler. I started at eleven and finished by 3:10 so I would have had plenty of light for a cnetury.

I was plenty tired when I finished. My longest ride of the year was 42. I'm running a bit over-weight as is usual this time of year. My plan for a first century is near the end of February.

Hey, and my legs didn't even shake.

Corrie
