We cut a motely but impressive swath down the bike path this afternoon. Eleven cyclists pretty much commanded the scene. The usual suspects couldn't believe our eyes.
Semi-regular cyclists: Debbie, Linda, Dave Denblaker
And the Roadie goes to Debbie. She had a little trouble getting started. Besides this is the funniest picture.
And the Best Supporting Roadie goes to Dave who looks a bit uncomfortable off his mountain bike. He got a little surly when he thought I was trying to beat him to the top of Clemens Road. Really, Dave, I just had to go to the bathroom in Asotin.
The We'd-rather-be-skiing-Roadie: goes to Nicki and Mike Riddle. Nicki says her arm is still sore from last year's skiing accident and Mike still can't raise his arm easily. Of course, they are off on a ski-vacation next week. Mike promises to ski sensibly. Anyone see him go down hill on a bike recently? And Nicki's talking Linda into a ski seminar next weekend. Maybe Linda can have a ski injury too?
The Best Family Roadie goes to Sean and Carol Ellis and Sean's dad, Rick. Well, okay, they had the most members from a single family on the ride.
Rick Ellis
The usual suspects: Chris, Steve, Corrie. These guys are always out there aren't they? Kind of boring, huh! The Hammerhead Roadie goes to Chris who knocked off Lapwai Loop at 19mph this week and still made it back for the second ride even though he started about 2 hours later than Steve and I.
