The sun was out and at 10 it was warmer today than yesterday. I took off both the arm and leg warmers before ascending the grade.
At the top, I rode on to the highway and back along 195 into the wind. I knew for sure I'd need everything for the descent. The clouds had come up thin and non-threatening but definitely blocking any warmth.
We discovered the wind had picked up too. It gave us a nice push toward Red Wolf. We still got back to Taco John's by 12:15 and had plenty of time for lunch and to wonder who would show up for the second start.

We were pleased to find the Whitely's and Helen ready to ride. The plan was to head up Lindsay Creek and take advantage of the East wind down Tammany. It worked too except at the bottom of Tammany where we almost always have bit of head wind.

The cloud cover made the afternoon a bit gloomy though not terribly cold. The jacket came off but the leg and arm warmers stayed on.
Not a bad Sunday dual, but I hope we get more riders for next Sunday's celebration of Debbie's birthday. We decided riding her birthday mileage starting at 1 might push the pace so we are spreading it out over both rides. We'll start at 10 for the grade again and at 1 Debbie would like to do the Clarkston loop for variety.
