those would be the ones carrying greencards not the ones with eyes on green stalks! We had a good ride on to Palouse; the breeze saved us from completely frying our brains on the hill out of Colfax. The Plaouse grocery was a welcome stop they had these little Italian ice popsicle things that just hit the spot; so much so that Jim went back for a second one. It worked though he was raring to go and pulled the crew the last few miles to Pullman. I always remember being told that there are three hills between Palouse and Pullman but I counted four yesterday. Laureen says I was delusional from the heat and that there were more like 40!

Oh and we did try sunscreen on Jim's chain I'm not sure it helped; me thinks we are going to have to get Sean to equip us all with travel sized lube tubes for all these sqeaky chains we seem to be having this year!

Palouse ride tomorrow night (Tuesday) 5:30 pm at the Cougar depot; I rode Hamilton hill at 3pm today coming home from my summer class; sure felt good in that heat!!!!

Thanks for a great ride on Sunday everyone.
