Corrie, one of the pleasures you haven't discovered in cycling is loaded touring. There every day's ride over 90 degrees is an "ice cream ride" assuming one can find a Dairy Queen, Baskin-Robbins, or local ice cream shop! Some tourists are incredible health nuts, but I never see them turn down ice-cream in those conditions!
