This from Doug Goodenough
Hi Corrie,
Did you go on the CDA ride? If so how was it? I had social engagements
this weekend so couldn't make it.
I went trail riding up asotin creek on Friday and had a slight mishap....
Hit a rock hidden in the grass and flew over the bars and landed on my
face. All in all I was pretty lucky.
Saturday I did an extended lewiston loop and sunday rode up to colton.
Looking forward to the 3 summits ride next weekend.
Have a good one,
Doug
And this from John McInturff
Corrie,
Thanks again to you and the Twin River Cyclists for helping to make a great weekend ride.
Please tell Linda, we were really just kidding about Rylee buying more rocks. Linda looked like she was starting to get concerned for Rylee's mental state, which is actually as steady a rock.
I didn't take as many pictures as I hoped to, and certainly thought I'd spend a little more time riding with y'all. I thought for sure you'd catch up to us on the hill, what with all the fooling around we do.
I've attached a few pictures for your blog, if you want them. The oddly framed picture of Rylee is oddly framed because the focus of the picture is not actually Rylee, but the rock monument marking the location (between mile post 30 and 31) of Rylee's road rash incident from a few weeks ago. Apparently the wind from the storm was enough to blow the top stone off the marker.
I had to take this picture on-the-fly, since Rylee didn't feel much like stopping to honor the spot this time through, even though some of her favorite skin is buried there.
The young moose in the picture was probably about a teenager by our standards. Still kind of fuzzy and awkward.
Hope you enjoy the pictures,
John
