The washboard on the main road Sunday where you had the flat wasn't bad on a 29er. I actually felt at times like I was on a bike ride. Other roads had worse washboard. The 29ers feel it too, but it is muted.

I don't think a Bob would be more stable than the two wheeled Burley but it would be easier to pull with only the one wheel to navigate through the ruts and rubble.
