Its nearly 10 am. Im riding south toward Anatone. The wind is in my face and worse, so is the rain which has been falling increasingly hard for the last five miles. We have about 75 miles to go for our goal, Joseph, Oregon. Im thinking seriously of turn-back options but I dont like any of them. To turn back now reduces my century to 40. I could ride out 50 and turn around, but it seems to me that 50 miles puts us somewhere near the Joseph Overlook, past Buford grade. That would mean doing the two hardest climbs back to back and in the rain.
