Lots of castles here but not many internet places.

Scenery is beautiful but the weather has been cold and wet. Only 2 days that I could take my leg warmers off!

Food is very good for the most part. Our leader orders us extra vegetables at dinner so we get what most of us are used to.

They really like whip cream - last night we had it on a thin ham slice that had a horseradish cream filling. I thought that was over the top but a guy today had whip cream on his fish soup! It's been delicious though.

I would say this area is very typical of Eastern Europe. Lots of 16th century Italian Renaissance. Very charming and Quaint. the roads and bike paths are excellent.

I've never seen so many bikers.

Bye for now. Love Mom /Helen

    Kamiah to Whitebird 009
That's Lee enjoying the climb up Harpster. This was the easy hill today.

"On Monday I nearly got hyperthermia and today I'm about to have heat exhaustion," I said paying for a diet pepsi and a water.

"I can see that," the bored woman at the Stites grocery said.
