Light Clubs

Tested by Himitsu

After spending some time researching past studies of the new clubs which I call Light Clubs, I discovered that Flickering is a new addition to the other clubs (Bright, Glowing, Brilliant). In the name of science I bought all of them and tested their effects by using the dummies in the Monastery.

The Light Clubs act as regular clubs except they won't let you swing until you get to a minimum percent balance. This is a benefit for exiles of all professions who rely on their balance for most of their defense. By using a Light Club you don't have to constantly monitor your balance in order to not go below a certain level of defense. The bad thing is they are sticky just like the Gossamer, Fell Blade, and Bloodblade used by fighters and the Mercurial Staff used by healers.

Each of the four clubs have a different percentage of balance that you must reach before you are able to swing again. Once you get below that, you are unable to swing while your balance recovers.

  • Flickering (10c) - 50%
  • Glowing (19c) - 65%
  • Bright (49c) - 80%
  • Brilliant (108c) - 100%
All of the percentages are rounded to the nearest whole number and are approximations, except for Flickering and Brilliant, which are exact.

If you like these clubs, you can buy them from the basement in Wiktus' Shop. Prices vary a bit as all the weapons do but they're around the ones I gave above. So there you have it, the Light Clubs.
