Yes - I use Google Desktop and have no problems with it. Initially I did have problems that happened after I'd installed the program, and so I took it off, but then I discovered that the real culprit was some ad-ware. I'm not sure what was happening, but the CPU usage stuck at 100% and, as you might imagine, progress on anything was terribly slow! However, I got rid of the baddies, re-installed Google Desktop and, since then, it's been fine.
