Thanks, for the input. I guess my sense of time gets conflated, but it seemed only a very short time between announcing that 1.5 would be available in the New Year and then its actual release. But I'm quite prepared to believe I was wrong :-)

As I said, I'm aware that it is the developers who need to get their act together and perhaps you are right in suggesting that most of them won't get round to reading the notes. However, the extensions I was interested in were for the software packages I mentioned and provided links for, so they were companies with development teams—still, they do tend to go for Internet Explorer fixes first, don't they.

I wouldn't be surprised to find one or two of them have actually caught up by the time we finish our correspondence, however! Things do tend to move fast in this business.
