I downloaded the Office 2007 beta some time ago and played with Word 2007 for a while. However, I found that I had problems when I went back to Word 2003 - I kept getting pop-up menus asking me to install this, that or the other. So, although I liked the new layout, with its ribbons instead of drop-down menus (although some of those remain), I decided to dump it off the machine and go back to 2003. Then I had to do a system restore to get rid of the problem with Office 2003 - fortunately, that worked and now I'm back to normal (or at least my system is!).
