According to the article entitled, "How will we know the reference classics of the web" written by James Rettig states how the reference classics in print will be able online. This article also addresses the issues of determining a "cool" website compared to a website that isn't. As a school library media specialist, I believe that websites intended for younger children should be "cool" and very colorful with animated characters and/or images. The older the child the less information such as animated characters and etc should be used because students are now researching information for a purpose not just for play; it should information based only.
