According to the book entitled, "Research in the Digital Age" written by Leslie F. Stebbins in chapter 3 states the importance of accessing correct online databases depending on particular topics, evaluate articles, indentifying scholarly journal articles and etc. This is another item I wished I was exposed to when I was completing my undergraduate degree. I believe every undergraduate student should be required to take an introduction to information literacy, where the professor teach students how to search for information online databases to access all different types of medias. Teaching students "How to Research" would actually ease the the process of writing term papers and research papers. Chapter 3 describes the typical pattern to look for in great research articles.
1. title
2. abstract
3. background
4. research/methodology
5. results & discussion
6. references
This format helps people look for great articles and helps people format their own research papers correctly.
