According to the book entitled, "Research in the Digital Age" written by Leslie F. Stebbins, chapter 1 discussed the seven steps of research. Step 1: Define your research question step 2: ask for help step 3: develop a research strategy & locate resources step 4: use effective search techniques step 5: read critically, synthesize and seek meaning step 6: understand the scholarly communication process & cite sources step 7: critically evaluate sources These are the steps to completing a successful research for any and every research assignment. I am very lucky to be reading this book while writing a research paper for a different LIS class.
