Prohibition against participation in the federal REAL ID Act of 2005 The State may not participate in the federal REAL ID Act of 2005, enacted as part of the Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act for Defense, the Global War on Terror, and Tsunami Relief, 2005, Public Law 109-13. The Secretary of State may not amend the procedures for applying for a driver's license or nondriver identification card under this chapter in a manner designed to conform to the federal REAL ID Act of 2005.

According to Newsday, Russell DeFreitas, commonly identified as a former “baggage handler” at JFK, actually worked as a baggage handler and/or a “trainee supervisor” in the employ of Evergreen International Airlines, a CIA front company based in McMinnville, Oregon. A TV news report out of Oregon revealed that DeFreitas “trained” at Evergreen's McMinnville facility between July 2000 and May 2001.
Evergreen, in fact, is a direct descendant of the infamous Air America, the CIA proprietary outfit that has been implicated in drug smuggling, covert arms shipments, and “extraordinary rendition” flights. More than a few Evergreen flights have served as “torture taxis,�=80� shuttling detainees to various destinations in the CIA-operated global torture archipelago.
According to former Customs Department Special Agent Diane Kleiman, DeFreitas's background means one thing: “He was working at JFK doing drug smuggling.”
“The CIA has always been involved in drug smuggling, and Evergreen or Air America has played a big role in it,” Kleiman told me in a recent phone interview. “When I was working Customs at JFK, we had this huge problem with airline personnel using their secure keys to give unauthorized access to `sterile corridors' that bypassed Customs inspection. Quite often this involved drug smuggling, and I've got ample reason to believe that Evergreen and other CIA assets were involved in it.”
It's worth remembering that the “confidential informant�=9D who infiltrated the supposed plot to blow up JFK was a convicted drug smuggler. Significant as well is the fact that Jamaat al Muslimeen (JAM), the Trinidad & Tobago-based radical Sunni group implicated in the alleged JFK plot, has been implicated in drug smuggling.

Port Of Spain - The four suspects in an alleged terror plot to bomb a New York airport were 'set up' in an elaborate plan by the US Republican party to retain hold of the White House, the daughter of an arrested suspect claimed on Tuesday.
Huda Ibrahiim, daughter of Amir Kareem Ibrahiim, one of four men accused of plotting acts of terrorism against the United States, said US justice officials had engaged in entrapment. Huda stated: "The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) informant key to breaking up the alleged plot had presented himself as an 'Islamic missionary from the United States' while visiting the homes of Abdul Kadir and Amir Ibrahiim. The FBI's informant, "is the only person culpable of any of the activities mentioned in the complaint." "The FBI informant visited our brothers with the specific intent to entrap them in activities they know nothing about, never agreed to and did not participate in," said Huda. She also said her father was afraid to fly, was not computer literate and does not use the internet.
"We believe that the persons responsible for the arrest of our brothers are doing it for a purpose other than the protection of the people and interests of the USA," Huda said. The other leading co-conspirator arrested was Harrison Ulrich Jack, a member of the California National Guard, and a retired Army officer who was a CIA covert operative in Southeast Asia before leaving active duty in 1977. According to the ATF agent, Jack quoted Lo Cha Thao, the president of the nonprofit organization United Hmong International, and one of the other Hmong co-conspirators, as saying that “the CIA was preparing to assist the Hmong insurgency once the takeover of Laos had begun”. An arsenal, including Stinger anti-aircraft missiles, AK-47 machine guns, C-4 explosives, Claymore land mines, night-vision goggles, and other automatic weapons had already been purchased. The weapons, which were seized by undercover agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives (ATF), were to be used against military and civilian targets in Laos.

UNITED NATIONS - The U.S. Congress is under increasing pressure to support the creation of a new UN peacekeeping force that would help stop armed conflicts in the world before they turn into a Darfur-like humanitarian catastrophe. A wide array of civil society groups sent a letter to federal legislators today urging them to support the proposed House Resolution 213 calling for the formation of the new force, named the UN Emergency Peace Service (UNEPS).
The resolution in support of UNEPS was sponsored by Rep. Albert Wynn (D-MD) and Rep. James Walsh (R-NY). As envisioned by the two Congressmen, UNEPS would recruit, train, and employ 10,000 to 18,000 professionals with a wide range of skills, including police, military, judiciary, and relief workers. Supporters of the proposed legislation say because such a force would be permanent, with mobile field headquarters, it could easily move to quell an emergency within 48 hours of UN Security Council authorization. clip..

While I do not agree with all of his writings, I am convinced his version of events concerning his arrest is correct. I am VERY concerned about this attack on HIM which was twisted, by the corrupt police and prosecutor, into a story in which he allegedly set-up the incident in order to cause a "confrontation with authority figures."
I attended the trial. It was simply a farce - a Salem Witch trial, where someone with alternative views was crucified. It is clearly an illegal penalty on the exercise of constitutional rights - freedom of speech. The judge allowed the prosecution to make statements that were inconsistent with the evidence and highly inflammatory slander and defamation of Mr. Bollyn's character. The prosecutor so tainted the trial that a fair hearing was impossible. Mr. Bollyn's attorneys pointed out the inconsistencies and lies of the police, but NO ONE ON THE JURY LISTENED, AND THE JUDGE IGNORED THE DUE PROCESS VIOLATIONS....
The 911 transmission log for the Hoffman Estates Fire Department EMS vehicles that responded to the Bollyn house on August 15, 2006. This document reveals that the three-man tactical unit led by Ofc. Barber planned to use violence when they responded to Mr. Bollyn's non-emergency 911 call about a suspicious vehicle. (The EMS vehicle arrived on the scene PRIOR TO the assault of Mr Bollyn!!) This was not a "gang suppression" exercise - this was a hit squad!...
The judge allowed the State's Attorney to grossly mischaracterize the evidence in closing, state false "facts" that were never in evidence, and therefore biased the jury.
