It's been three years since the U.S. launched its war against Saddam Hussein and his weapons of mass destruction. Of course now almost everybody knows there were no WMDs, and Saddam Hussein posed no threat to the United States. Though some of our soldiers serving in Iraq still believe they are there because Saddam Hussein was involved in 9/11, even the administration now acknowledges there was no connection. Indeed, no one can be absolutely certain why we
invaded Iraq.
The current excuse, also given for staying in Iraq, is to make it a democratic state, friendly to the United States. There are now fewer denials that securing oil supplies played a significant role in our decision to go into Iraq and stay there. That certainly would explain why U.S. taxpayers are paying such a price to build and maintain numerous huge, permanent military bases in Iraq. They're also funding a new billion dollar embassy -- the largest in the world.
The significant question we must ask ourselves is: What have we learned from three years in Iraq? With plans now being laid for regime change in Iran, it appears we have learned absolutely nothing. There still are plenty of administration officials who daily paint a rosy picture of the Iraq we have created. But I wonder: If the past three years were nothing more than a bad dream, and our nation suddenly awakened, how many would, for national security reasons, urge the same invasion? Would we instead give a gigantic sigh of relief that it was only a bad dream, that we need
not relive the three-year nightmare of death, destruction, chaos and stupendous consumption of tax dollars. Conceivably we would still see oil prices under $30 a barrel, and most importantly, 20,000 severe U.S. causalities would not have occurred. My guess is that 99% of all Americans would be thankful it was only a bad dream, and would never support the invasion knowing what we know today.
Even with the horrible results of the past three years, Congress is abuzz with plans to change the Iranian government. There is little resistance to the rising clamor for "democratizing" Iran, even though their current president, Mahmoud Almadinejad, is an elected leader. Though Iran is hardly a perfect democracy, its system is far superior to most of our Arab allies about which we never complain. Already the coordinating propaganda has galvanized the American people against Iran for the supposed threat it poses to us with weapons of mass destruction that are no more present than those
Saddam Hussein was alleged to have had. It's amazing how soon after being thoroughly discredited over the charges levied against Saddam Hussein the Neo-cons are willing to use the same arguments against Iran. It's frightening to see how easily Congress, the media, and the people accept many of the same arguments against Iran that were used to justify an invasion of Iraq. clip..

There's a misconception that there is no proof for 9/11 being an inside job. There's plenty of proof. Obstruction of investigation before and after the fact, the NORAD failure, buildings collapsing in ways that could only be explained by planted explosives, planes being flown in ways the alleged hijackers could not have flown them, some of those very hijackers still being alive. There isn't just one smoking gun here - there are dozens of them. What the left seems to want is some sort of "official" acknowledgement, one that will never come - just as Texas Governor John Connally would never acknowledge publicly what he knew, about the assassination of JFK. ( It was Connally whom accompanied JFK in the same vehicle, when was murdered that day in Dallas.)
There is a strong tendency to deny and try to explain away the evidence. Part of the difficulty in accepting the reality behind 9/11 is confronting the significance not just of the nature of the event, but what it and the surrounding cover-up implies. The harder part is not necessarily believing that some people in our own country would do such a thing, but that the entire government and media would assist in the deception that followed. An essay in 911truth.org says it best:
"Understanding the full truth of 9/11 seems to require two separate awakenings. The first, awakening to the fraudulence of the 'official 9/11 story,' is a pretty simple brain function and only requires a little study, logic or curiosity. The second step, however, consciously confronting the implications of that knowledge -- and what it says about our media, politics and economic system today -- is by far the harder awakening." ...
I found that reflected exactly what I had to go through. After seeing the overwhelming evidence on 9/11, it was Kristina Borjesson's essay on her experience investigating TWA800 in her book "Into the Buzzsaw" that was the final straw. It showed that the prototypical "conspiracy theorist" mechanisms of false investigations by the FBI and suppression of investigation by the media were, in fact, in place well before 9/11; that even under the Clinton administration, one that was far less repressive than the current one, such things occurred.
There is a fairly direct lineage from the perpetrators of the sixties assassinations, through the Watergate break in and Iran-Contra scandals, to 9/11. The group of people who seem to enjoy and are able to implement covert actions in the name of maintaining power and modifying policy is alive and well and stronger than ever. They're currently attempting to consolidate their control through vote fraud, an effort that started showing results in the 2000 elections. There's no reason to think they won't continue to use these techniques if they continue to go unrecognized and unpunished.
There have been a number of false terrorist attacks abroad since 9/11, (3/11 Madrid, 7/7 London, etc.), and domestic ones still appear to be on the table as an option. A GOP memo conjectured how another "terrorist" attack might help Bush's ratings, and Cheney discussed the possibility of a 9/11-like event precipitating an attack on Iran. As more people catch on, it makes the selling of the false reality of an attack difficult, and the attack less likely to take place.
Jim Garrison, (JFK assassination special investigator), once said that "fascism will come to America in the name of national security." Incredibly prescient; that's exactly what's happening now. clip..

The case of the mysterious suicide of Raymond Lemme of the Florida Inspector General's office was reopened by Valdosta, Georgia police last December shortly after we broke the story of computer programmer Clint Curtis' sworn affidavit charging that he had built a "vote-rigging software prototype" at the request of Rep. Tom Feeney (R-FL)!
Lemme was not even in Valdosta, Georgia at the time that the motel receipts show that he had checked-in to the room where he was eventually found dead.
Involvement from the Florida Dept. of Transportation (FDOT) may have lead to the quick re-closing of the case shortly after it was recently re-opened!
Lemme was the first official from the FL Inspector General's office to investigate the charges originally made by Curtis' 2001 whistleblower complaint at the FDOT, where he had gone to work after leaving Yang Enterprises, Inc. (YEI) in the wake several disturbing meetings at the software firm with Feeney and YEI's CEO, Mrs. Li-Woan Yang.
In Curtis' 2001 complaint to the IG's office, filed along with another FDOT whistleblower, he charged that an illegal Chinese alien was working at and committing espionage out of YEI and that YEI was illegally over-billing FDOT in a multi-million dollar contract. That contract, Curtis charges, was received with assistance from Florida Congressman Feeney, who was, at the time of Curtis' original complaint, the Florida Speaker of the House as well as legal counsel and a registered lobbyist for YEI. Congressman Feeney had previously been Jeb Bush's running-mate in his original failed bid for Florida governor in 1994. Feeney now sits on the U.S. House Judiciary Committee representing Florida's 24th Congressional district. The Chinese spy reported by Curtis was eventually indicted and pled guilty to espionage charges (see this previous BRAD BLOG report for more details). For their part, YEI was recently found to have billed FDOT for more than $300,000 in "questionable charges."
In his 2004 affidavit, Curtis describes a mid-June 2003 meeting with Lemme in which he claims that Lemme told him he "had tracked the corruption 'all the way to the top' and that the story would break in the next few weeks and I would be satisfied with the results." On July 1, 2003 -- just two weeks later -- Raymond Camillo Lemme was found dead in a bathtub, with his arm slashed twice with a razor blade near the left elbow in Room #132 of the Knights Inn motel in Valdosta, Georgia; a border-town some 80 miles from Tallahassee, Florida where Lemme lived and worked. A handwritten note, unsigned, was found by police on the desk in the room in a black leather day planner.
At the time of this incident, Lemme's only child was engaged to be married just three months later in September. Curtis has told us that Lemme frequently talked about his daughter with him. "He would always discuss his daughter and had talked about her upcoming wedding," he told us. Yet Lemme's only daughter -- his only child -- is not mentioned by name in the unsigned note. A family member of Lemme's has told us that the family generally feels that the handwriting on the note seemed to belong to Lemme.
When we first asked Curtis what Lemme might have been doing in Valdosta in the first place, Curtis explained to the The BRAD BLOG in one of our initial interviews that "There are no autopsy laws in Georgia. Had he committed suicide in Florida, there would have been a mandatory autopsy." clip..=20
Steve's Note: There is ample evidence to indicate that major voting fraud occurred in the state of Florida in the 2000 elections, (a state where the Governor is the brother of the President that benefited from the outcome of that election, becoming President.) This whole case is about the investigation of voting fraud in that state, where the man, (dead by supposed 'suicide'), claimed two weeks earlier, to have proof that this voting fraud was connected to the highest people in the state. The body ended up in a different state, (where autopsies are not required), and photos of the body show other injuries present, unrelated to the slashing of arteries. Looks like investigator got too close to the truth of vote fraud.

Washington - Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald is in possession of filmed evidence allegedly showing Senator Hillary Clinton entering Bank Crozier in the British territory of Grenada during early 2003 for the purpose of withdrawing stolen and laundered U.S. Treasury funds for alleged personal use after presenting the bank with CIA code numbers in her capacity as a U.S. senator, CIA operative and wife of a former president, according to a team of intelligence sources. “Bank account numbers, entities and trust documents also linked to former Presidents George H. W. Bush and Bill Clinton have been delivered to Fitzgerald.
Washington Riggs Bank ties to its world banking system correspondent Bank Crozier in Grenada indicate that the stolen, laundered and back-dated U.S. treasury notes may allegedly be linked to funding the September 11 attacks in violation of U.S. racketeering laws [Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—RICO statutes], the intelligence sources said.
Intelligence sources say Valerie Plame was also looking into the 9-11 money trail—but also an attempt to plant weapons of mass destruction in Iraq to buttress the case for war , thus requiring Fitzgerald to probe the money-trail connections and strong incentives for the Bush administration to “out” Mrs. Plame-Wilson for her intelligence operations.
The Swedish-owned Bank Crozier was under a court order to be liquidated by Garvey Louison of Louison Consulting which took place on July 24, 2003, so it would seem that Senator Clinton would have had to withdraw the funds prior to the liquidation. The originals and collated notes in Fitzgerald=E2€™s possession were published in a more easily readable format in International Currency Review , Volume 30, Numbers 2 and 3, February 2005 and in previous issues.
According to the federal agents, the same Crozier account from which Senator Clinton was video-taped withdrawing stolen U.S. Treasury funds was also used by the son of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher to help fund a failed coup d’ etat to unseat the president of oil-rich Equatorial Guinea.
Washington’s Riggs Bank was the prosecuted correspondent entity fined for multiple suspicious transactions involving Bank Crozier in Grenada. Jonathan Bush—George W. Bush’s uncle and brother of Bush 41, ran Riggs Bank National Corporation subsidiary J. Bush & Co. money management; and Riggs was alleged to have laundered funds from the account of Saudi Prince Bandar’s wife that reached two alleged September 11 =E2€œhijackers,.”
Bank Crozier’s ties to Riggs are allegedly implicated in the bank’s guilty plea on January 27, 2005 for repeatedly failing to report suspicious transactions in bank accounts held by Equatorial Guinea leaders and paying a $16 million penalty.
Mrs. Thatcher’s 51 year old son Sir Mark Thatcher was arrested in July, 2004 and pleaded guilty to helping finance “mercenariesâ=80 suspected of the plot in order to avoid a prison sentence; but Sir Mark was refused a visa to enter the U.S. Sir Mark Thatcher, E-Systemsâ€=94Dallas, and the Bush family:
Former Pentagon intelligence officer Bill McCoy, who died mysteriously after implicating German intelligence officer Andreas Carl Strassmeier in the Oklahoma city bombing, provided proof before his death that Sir Mark Thatcher was on the payroll of E-Systems in Dallas, Texas with George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush, Jeb Bush, Neil Bush and others.
Colonel Oliver North, who was pardoned by George H. W. Bush, referred to E-Systems as “the company” in his testimony before Congress; but Bill McCoy called E-Systems the illegal shadow government within the government—a covert and ongoing system of black operations, drugs and weapons money-laundering via off-shore banks.
Riggs Bank quickly paid the fine, but the House and Senate banking committees have failed in their oversight to probe the above links to 9-11, Valerie Plame, Riggs and Crozier Banks while federalizing the counterfeiting of U.S. currency by the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank and declining to report the M 3 data on currency in circulation [as of March 23, 2006]

My initial reaction to the 1993 Gulf War was that it was all about oil which we desperately needed. Now it appears that I was wrong. Currently there is strong evidence that we are preparing to invade Iran. Whether this invasion will be preceded by another "terrorist" attack on the U.S. is obviously unknown. Perhaps a nuclear attack on a U.S. city by "Arabs" would attract sufficient public opinion approval to warrant another U.S. invasion of a sovereign nation.
My impression currently is that there may be a more insidious and sinister aspect to the invasion of Iraq. Could we be using this nuclear war as a way to lower the population of an Arab nation? Exposing all the citizens in a nation to a daily dose of radioactive uranium dust would be certain to produce very premature deaths and inability to reproduce. These irradiated nations will have huge problems with illness of their citizens and the inability of most parents to produce healthy children for succeeding generations.
Who is going to be willing to work in irradiated oil fields knowing that their life expectancy will be reduced by many years and that there is a strong possibility that they will probably never be able to have normal children. Even salaries of a million dollars annually do not sound very attractive to me to work in those irradiation contaminated oil fields.
The new book The High Priests of War documents how Henry Kissinger had planned an attack against the Arab world in the late 1960s and early 1970s. This nicely coincided with a Middle Eastern oil crisis and the development of DU war capabilities.
Mr. Kissinger had been previously involved in plans (later implemented) to lower the population of blacks in Africa by using bio-warfare[2] programs (vaccines contaminated with HIV virus). This CIA plot was code named PROJECT MKNAOMI. The details about the development of the HIV vaccine in the NIH Cancer Division are well documented in Leonard G. Horowtz's book Emerging Viruses AIDS and Ebola Nature, Accident or Intentional?
