I think things are starting to get pretty bad when an 81 year old man has to say things like this, but Kurt Vonnegut still knows what the fuck is going on.
It's apparent that the newspapers don't know what the fuck is going on... Brian Carnell points out how the Boston Globe was scooped by World Net Daily because the Globe printed fake torture pictures as fact.
Also, you need to see Tim Russert on the Daily Show... This inteview echos the media's relative lack of ummm.... well... reporting! It also oddly echos the strong sentiment towards family values that Vonnegut talks about (via Russert's new book).
The best clip is an English journalist asking Blair (in front of China!) how the hell we can condem China's human rights when we've (the Coallition) have violated the Geneva Convention in Iraq.
For less tinfoil of a hat, check out The Red Cross report.
On the lighter side... Check out the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie production blog!

If not for this guy, you wouldn't be reading this now... or using any computing machine for that matter. He was gay, and an award in his name is highly covetted.
