Just when you thought to yourself "Ya know, I don't like Kerry, and jeebus, we were attacked as a country after all, so was Bush really all that bad for cowboy-ing-it all by himself?"

Well, turns out, the hearts of the fanatical Christian republicans are slowly, but surely, reaching absolute zero in temperature.

I was, as of not more than 20 minutes ago, witness to a bombing right here in Columbus.

Em & I were driving on Akerman & Olentangy River Road near the Red Roof Inn... I saw a flash not too unlike lightning, and a crack like gunshot. There was another car in front of me that had sped up ahead of us. We both passed a smoking car in the parking lot behind a restaurant or club, and then doubled back to see what had happened.

The windshield and dash of a BMW were completely in wiry disarray, smoking, surrounded with no answers, but many that had come out in angst...

"Is that your car?" the guys in the red car said. The owner spat "Fuck yeah that's my car..." The guys in the red car said they had seen a white guy running. Em & I did not see anyone. We asked if they needed any witnesses, they said no, and we left.

Many had come out the back where it had happened. One thick guy was holding a thick wooden stick in readiness. The car smelled of burning plastic.

Drugs, love, turf, money, or pride... who the fuck knows. Elsewhere, with the "war on terror" a half a world a way, people also wonder about the defense against a single person with ill intent.
