You have absolutely no idea. As in, all of these people on this global media fabric are writing you instantaneous prose on your specific subject matter, and you have no idea how they're watching the show?

So I moved all 30 of those frames per second into the trash can.

Just kidding, I shift-deleted it.

half awake in our fake empire

late 1990's music

it is my prediction that many people to come will look at the art and music of the late 1990's and 2000 as being perhaps the absolute pinnacle of creative works in the united states... this song here was written sometime around 1998.

also, this Ben Moody guy has a beautiful undertone to his music that can be heard on songs like "because of you" by kelly clarkson.

here's a link to e-chords (nasty pop-up warning, seriously) my immortal

those chords probably aren't entirely accurate, but sounds pretty close to me... interesting to me are the use and placements of 9ths and maj7th's to blur and blend the minor and major chords so beautifully...

and now you can berate me for the tired, over-poppy, bi-polar, nu-metal silliness that is evanescence ;p

but when i first heard this song i was in sort of an interesting mental state, coming to grips with having been involved with someone that didn't really love me, and i remember her ex boyfriend telling me that they were on a christian label (they were at the time, as some kind of experiment), and i dunno... the deep melodrama of the whole thing was one of the first things i actually felt in a long time of numbness.

marge vs. the monorail

Put some new music together over at http://monorail42.googlepages.com... sort of going for that "casio chord" sound ;p Enjoy!

strike up the band

it's the holidays so as we don't notice how little sunlight we're getting lately, but that's all okay... for the most part, i want you, the 7 people who google reader says are actually subscribed to reflect on music and how freakin awesome it is. :D
