How to have ThreadMole's threads on your site, for free

Javascript Syndication

All ThreadMole content is syndicatable via javascript (like Moreover's newsfeeds) so that you can have it integrating nicely into you own site, and help promote good discussion without losing traffic to the Mole. The look of the content can even be customised, so that it matches your website's design.

There are two different options. 'Headlines only', and 'Full Content'. Both options are shown below. Scroll down past them (or click here) to find out how to put them on one of your own webpages.

Headlines Only:

Full Content:

Headlines Only

Advantage:
Smaller, easier to fit onto one of your sites main pages.

Disadvantage:
Links first take readers to ThreadMole, instead of directly to the thread.

Full Content

Advantage:
Links take readers straight to the interesting thread.

No traffic is lost to ThreadMole.

To put ThreadMole's "Headlines Only" on your webpage, copy the javascript below, and paste it on your site. To put ThreadMole's "Full Content" on your webpage, copy the javascript below, and paste it on your site.
<script src='http://www.free-conversant.com/threadmole/headlines.js'> </script> <script src='http://www.free-conversant.com/threadmole/full.js'> </script>

If you have any questions, or need a hand getting any of this to work, e-mail lyle@mooloo.com, and ask for hand.

How to change the look of ThreadMole's content.

You can make ThreadMole fit better into your website by using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). If you are experienced with HTML and CSS, you may like to make your own stylesheet. For most people though, it would probably be much easier to link to one of the four stylesheets we have already put together. Click each font to see ThreadMole's content using the different stylesheets.

Arial, Times, Verdana and Courier. (These will open in a new window).

To use one of these style sheets, copy the corresponding HTML and paste it between your HTML pages <head> tags.

Arial

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://www.free-conversant.com/threadmole/arial.css" />

Times

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://www.free-conversant.com/threadmole/times.css" />

Verdana

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://www.free-conversant.com/threadmole/verdana.css" />

Courier

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://www.free-conversant.com/threadmole/courier.css" />

Once again, I'd like to emphasise, if you have any questions, need a hand getting any of this to work, or have any suggestions, then don't hesitate to e-mail lyle@mooloo.com.
